NOTEBOOK COMPUTER vs. LAPTOP COMPUTERS
It is very fortunate that most people in the world don’t know the major difference between a Notebook and a laptop computer.
Although laptops and notebooks have a very similar traits such as they are both portable and you can take them anywhere but they are some differences between the both of them.
Let me first explain briefly what a notebook and laptop computer is.
Notebook computers are design to allow you to do computer work while on the go and still offer all the power mobile users require for entertainment as well as work.
Laptop computer, the name laptop says it all. It is a portable unit meant for you to be able to work with while on your lap.
MAJOR DIFFERENCES BETWEEN A NOTEBOOK AND A LAPTOP
- A notebook computer is ultra light, which makes it easier for you to take it anywhere you want, compares to a laptop.
- A notebook computer has a low profile i.e. it is thin while a laptop computer has a higher profile and a bit fatter than a notebook.
- A notebook computer do not have a internal floppy disk nor do it have the ability to utilize a CD or DVD disk, While a laptop computer posses all these quality i.e. internal disk(CD-ROM/DVD-ROM), it may be a RECORDABLE ROM or RE-WRITABLE ROM depending on the capacity of the laptop.
- The speakers integrated on a laptop computer are of higher quality compare to the one install on notebook computers.
- The graphical display of a laptop computer is of a higher resolution compare to a notebook.
- The screen inches of a laptop computer is at least 14-17 while that of a notebook computer is 12-12 inches.
- The battery life of a notebook computer is about 4hours plus while a laptop computer is 2hours plus.
