Etisalat Users to Retrieve Lost SIM Cards Online

Etisalat Nigeria has introduced a service that allows its subscribers to retrieve their lost Subscriber Identification Module cards online.According to Chief Commercial Officer, Etisalat Nigeria, Mr. Wael Ammar “To replace a lost, stolen or damaged SIM, all a customer needs to do is buy a new Etisalat SIM card, visit the Etisalat website at www.etisalat.com.ng and access the SIM swap form under the ‘Customer Care’ sub-menu on the Home Page.”
Ammar further explained that Etisalat introduced the SIM swap service as a means of improving customer experience by making it easy for subscribers, who were unable to visit the experience centres or contact the call centre, to retrieve their SIM cards online at their own convenience.
In another development, Etisalat has reduced the tariff on its ‘Cliq 4d day’ package from 25k a second to 20k a second.
“The new improved Easy Cliq also offers subscribers free midnight calls to everyone on the Etisalat network when they recharge for as low as N100 per week. They also have access to free unlimited SMS to all Etisalat subscribers. For every billed SMS they send, they get one free,” Ammar added.
